28 Jul 2026 “Soil. Where it all Begins” Stewardship Design Contest Winners
Every year we host a variety of contests around the annual stewardship theme selected by the NACD to motivate students to think about our natural resources and our connection to them. We follow the NACD’s judging guidelines which were developed to encourage participation and inclusion. This year’s contest results are displayed below. Each one of these designs will be sent to the State for judging, and will appear on LAMAR billboards around Lake County later this year.
Jesse Jones won grand prize for their hand-drawn poster design in the 4th-5th grade category.
Maycee DeBolt earned 1st prize for their submission in the high school hand-drawn t-shirt design category.
Naum Kochovski earned 1st prize for their digital design entry for the high school category.
